New regulatory manager for ADAMA in the UK and Ireland

ADAMA has appointed Nicola Geering as its new Regulatory Manager for the UK and Ireland.

Nicola with be working as part of ADAMA’s European regulatory team to help secure and maintain product registrations for ADAMA’s expanding portfolio of fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and plant growth regulators, with a specific focus on the UK and Ireland.

Nicola joins ADAMA from UPL where she has been working as a Regulatory Manager for the UK and Ireland. Her career in the agrichemicals regulatory sector started after she graduated from the University of Surrey with a degree in Biochemistry (Toxicology): she initially worked for the chemicals regulator in New Zealand before returning to the UK to work in domestic and European-wide regulatory roles (with a specific focus on the UK, Ireland and Nordic and Baltic countries) for BASF, Agform and UPL.

Commenting on Nicola’s appointment, Ben Miles, ADAMA’s Managing Director, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Nicola to ADAMA and look forward to working with her to secure the ongoing regulatory approval of our expanding range of crop protection products.

“Nicola will provide important technical support for our UK and Ireland business and will play an integral part in securing the registration of our pipeline of new products which are being designed and developed to ensure tomorrow’s farmers have the tools they need to produce healthy and profitable crops.”
