Florian Wagner

Florian joins ADAMA after 17 years in the agricultural industry with Syngenta where he held various Commercial positions of increasing managerial responsibility. Among other, he led the Global Insect Control portfolio and in his most recent role, he managed Marketing and Business Development for Syngenta's crop protection business in Europe, Africa, and Middle East. He gained in-depth experience into key agricultural markets during longer-term assignments in Argentina, South-East Europe and Turkey. Florian started his career in the automotive industry with a focus on Operations and Development.

Florian holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a Dipl. Wirtsch Ing. from the University of Karlsruhe.

Florian lives with his family in a small German town in the border triangle of France, Switzerland and Germany. In his free time he enjoys sports of all kinds – in summer you can always ask him for a round of tennis, or for a day of skiing in winter.
